She is one of the three finalists at 'The Stage 2' on Colors Infinity in 2016. Arunaja, also called Ammu, is a Kochi-based vocalist. Her singing started at the age of five, when her father, started to train her in Carnatic music. It was in her college days she was exposed to western music and started to sing in a Cochin-based choir called Rock of Ages. Arunaja as Vocalist is highly influenced by Gospel, Old-school pop, Rock, R&B, Blues and Contemporary pop.
